THE SCHOOL'S LIBRARY

in 2008, YFK has been raising funds from institutions and many kind hearted individuals, to build a library for YK Primary School. THis library is important and a national requirement for a primary school, to qualify the final year students to join the national exams and eventually graduate from primary school, entering secondary school / high school.

The construction for the library started along with the fund raising activities. In mid March 2009 finally the library building has been completed, and some books and simple supporting equipment such as rack and librarian's desk and computer have been made available.

With the limited funds, the library currently has very limited stock of books and display equipment for teaching and learning purpose. Because of this, YFK's members are still looking for donations from individuals.

Here are some pictures taken during YFK member's recent visit , the year III students were required to visit the library to do some reading. We can see how they enjoy getting the boundless knowledge from the books they have access to now..

Designing FK Primary School Building
